The author wove many wonderful characters throughout the book with skills and talents anyone would envy. How often are we unaware of our own hidden talents? Great characters that would hurt to lose any of them. Surprising twists. Well-thought-out dialogue and the fights/combats are amazing. And a new, very interesting magic mechanic. So much fun.
